This route provides access to eastern residential areas of Memphis as well as
numerous cultural and educational destinations. Starting at the Marian Hale
Community Center at 4791 Willow Road, the route follows quiet residential streets
and busy urban boulevards. The route provides access to Audubon Park, which
contains the Memphis Botanic Gardens, a tennis center, and a golf course. South
of Audubon Park is the Dixon Gallery and Garden, an art museum surrounded by 17
acres of gardens. The highly acclaimed Lichterman Nature Center, a 65 acre wildlife
sanctuary and environmental education facility within Lichterman Park is at the
southeast end of the route. On the far eastern end, off of Kirby Road, the route
links to the City of Germantown bike lanes via Neshoba Road.
