Red Light Cameras

Red Light Camera

The City of Memphis is pleased to announce the launch of a life-saving red-light camera program. This program will improve safety on Memphis' roadways. Similar programs around the country have resulted in a decrease in red-light running and fewer collisions and injuries.

The first cameras will be installed at the intersection of Winchester and Riverdale Roads, the scene of the highest number of collisions from 2006 through June 2009.
