Voter Identification Litigation - Library Photo ID Card
The Mayor's vision for the use of City of Memphis Library Photo ID Cards as valid state identification for voting became a reality May 25, 2012 when the Tennessee Court of Appeals approved the measure. The intent was to make voting easier for every city and community across Tennessee where seniors, the disabled and people in general need greater access and flexibility in obtaining a valid ID for voting.
