Volunteers are vital to any community based program. The Animal Shelter is no different. We rely on our volunteers for support in a variety of important and truly life saving endeavors from customer service and adoption assistance to helping people reunite with their lost pet and assistance at off-site adoption event. There are countless ways in which you can help. On Saturday, January 29, Memphis Animal Services and the Friends of Memphis Animal Services, a 501(c)3 organization with a mission to support and assist the shelter, welcomed 15 new volunteers to our organization. We are so lucky to have such a dedicated and committed group of citizens.
