Public Works Establishes Temporary Public Drop-off for Bagged Leaves

Beginning this Saturday, December 5th, City of Memphis Public Works will accept bagged leaves from Memphis residents at Public Works' Collins Yard Facility, located at 304 Collins Street. Residents of Memphis will be allowed to bring unlimited bags of leaves between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and will be open during the week Monday through Saturday during the months of December and January, except on city observed holidays.

Residents must unload their own bags, although monitors will be on site to direct where to unload. No contractors or non Memphis residents allowed. The Collins Yard Facility is located between Poplar Ave. and Sam Cooper Blvd.

Depending on the success of this collection initiative at the Collins Yard site, other drop-off locations may be announced in the coming weeks.

  • FOR RESIDENTS OF MEMPHIS ONLY
  • NO TRASH, GARBAGE OR TREE TRIMMINGS
  • NO ILLEGAL DUMPING OUTSIDE OF THE SITE
