Partnerships
Partnerships and coalitions further our mission. The scope of the issues requires that we work together. Together we seek to prevent avoidable crimes, save public monies, and help released offenders succeed. We need your support.
Prospective Employers can contact the office at (901) 545-0343.
It is important to act now.
The non-profit arm of Second Chance was established so more people can experience success. Our staff, some of whom are ex-offenders themselves, will walk the journey with each individual with the goal of preserving the family unit whenever possible. Will you join us on this important journey?
Funding our program results in:
- A safer community.
- More people coming out of prison will
successfully re-integrate back into
our community as contributing citizens.
- The burden on local social service
agencies will be reduced as the ex-
offender population has been one of the
most challenging to serve.
- Our community receives the benefits of
an expanded tax base.
- Crimes committed by those being
released from prison will be reduced.
- Expenditures for arresting,
prosecuting and incarcerating people
from Shelby County will be reduced.
- More families will stay together and every
one benefits when mom or dad is not
Incarcerated.
